Ugly Opener at Iron Horse

Scott R Chilcutt, North Richland Hills, TX (February 22, 2015)  Weather plagued Dallas opener.

Over the past four years, the Dallas Tour has opened it's calendar year schedule at Tangle Ridge for the Grand Prairie Classic.  With cold, rain and wet conditions always on the menu, a change of venue attempted to mix up the luck. Iron Horse Golf Course in North Richland Hills, TX, off the Dallas schedule since 2010 because of scheduling made its not so friendly comeback.  Overseeded fairways, with exceptional greens over the previous few weeks looked to be just what the tour members ordered.   It looks like the venue wasn't the issue, but luck certainly didn't change.

Play was shortened do to unplayable water conditions on the greens, simply too many without any relief possibilities.
