Peppler Wins At Chambers Bay

Scott R Chilcutt, Edmond, OK (July 15, 2012)  Chambers Bay, Washington State's tribute to this weeks Open Championship and the links of Scotland and Ireland played host to the Pacific Northwest Championship Major on the Golf Channel Am Tour.

Dallas Tour member Anthony Peppler made the trip and took home the top honors in the Championship Flight.  Sleeping on a two stroke lead after day one, "I was able to traverse the event in 20 MPH Dallas type winds", noted Peppler.  Three birdies and an eagle cancelled out a few rough stretches on his final round to pick up his first win on the season.
