With the weather forecasted for Sunday, it was very questionable if the event would be held at all, but low and behold the storms held off until we loaded the trailer after all the awards were disbursed. The weather leading up the event, with torrential rains, made this go round of the Arlington Championship more challenging in some ways, but certainly easier in others. Cart paths only, led to a lot of walking, but take all the bunkers out of play because they were washed out and filled with water, gave some needed relief.
The winner of the Feherty's Troops First Foundation 50/50 raffle, took home $580, bringing the Texas Tour local events total to $11,290 in contributions to the Foundation in 2017.
