RESULTS:
Championship Flight: Grouped in the same pairing with both Championship Flight National and Senior National Champions in 2016, Andrew Braun of Trophy Club, TX, upped his game. Braun would card three birdies on his round that would eliminate a double and bogie to finish even par for his third win of the season. Three strokes back, Plano, TX, player Gant Bills, made eagle on the par 5 - 9th, added two birdies coming to the clubhouse for the runner-up finish, with Jack Carlile, of Lewisville, TX, rounding out the top three.
Palmer Flight: Murphy, TX, player Dallas Webster and Kyle Sandlin of Rockwall, TX, matched scores making the turn, one stroke out of the lead, with Webster taking the top spot to the eighteenth tee. Sandlin would then make eagle three on the par 5 - 18th to knot up the score once again, forcing extra holes. Back out to the par 4 - 10th for the sudden death it would only take one hole when Webster made birdie to pick up his second win of the season. For Sandlin, a first-year player it was his best finish on tour. One stroke back, the leader making the turn, Kirk Boerner of Fort Worth, TX, rounded out the top three.
Senior Palmer Flight: David Lake of Irving, TX, carded two birdies on the round to pick up his first win on tour. Four strokes back, the trio of Michael Fyfe of McKinney, TX, with one birdie on the day Trophy Club, TX, member Jalil Daneshfar with two birdies on his round and traveling Catoosa, TX, player Michael Foster, with a birdie of his own, split the runner-up finish.
Hogan Flight: Three strokes out of the lead making the turn, Frisco, TX, player Deon Barber, put together an even par on the back nine with the help of three birdies to pick up his third win on tour, all coming within his last four events. One stroke back, Aldofo Perez of Rowlett, TX, a two-time winner on the season, finished in the runner-up spot. Plano, TX, resident Mark Anderson kept a streak alive, with all top three finishes on the season, birdied his first hole out of the gate to take the final podium spot.
Senior Hogan Flight: Starting the day on the par 4 - 10th, Ken Johnson of Carrollton, TX, struggled on his front nine, making the turn with a five stroke deficit. Johnson would then get things on track finishing his final five holes -2, with two birdies to make up the difference for a one stroke victory, his fifth of the season. Oklahoma Tour traveler, Kirby Rogers of Muldrow, OK grabbed the second place finish with Cleburne, TX, player Michael Starks rounding out the top three.
Sarazen Flight: Atlanta Tour visitor, Jeffeory White of Dalton, GA, picked up his second win of the season and sixth on tour. One stroke back Seagoville, TX, player Mitch Ryan, with a birdie on the par 4 - 1st and Frisco, TX, member Jason Shuffield, with two birdies on his round shared the runner-up finish.
Senior Sarazen Flight: Taking to the course on the tenth hole, Bullard, TX, member Bill Clark, made the turn two strokes out of the championship behind, Tom Stockton of Grand Prairie, TX. With a birdie on the par 4-6th, Clark made up the difference grid locking the pair and forcing extra playoff holes. Before going back to the course in the heat for the sudden death, players were kidding the pair about it being an eighteen hole playoff. It looked like that could happen, but after four extra holes, Stockton succumbed to that heat, handing Clark the Championship, for his second win of the season. Idabel, OK member Mark Helms rounded out the top three, one stroke back.
Jones Flight: Coming off a win on Saturday in The Hill Country, Judy Harris of Abilene, TX, made it three for the season and second in as many attempts. With a birdie on the par 5 - 12th hole, Dallas, TX, player David Farmer, JR finished in the second place spot, with Scott Sears of Carrollton, TX, taking third.
Snead Flight: Jason Jenniges of Weatherford, TX, made birdie on his ninth hole of the day, the par 5 - 18th that proved to be just enough for his second win of the season and fourth on tour. One stroke back, the pair of Zane Latham of Valley View, TX, and Fort Worth, TX, member Douglas Pritchett, shared the runner-up honors.
